Ancient Egyption Day

On Monday 9th May, Year 3 and 4 had an Ancient Egyptian day! The children dressed up fantastically and took part in lots of different activities, including making a clay cartouche, writing hieroglyphics on papyrus, painting death masks and constructing a shaduf! The children then worked in groups to mummify someone using toilet roll!
