Please take a look below at the wonderful artwork completed by the Giraffes last term.
They were studying Victorian childhoods so undertook some work on the artist L. S. Lowry. He was one of the most famous artists of the 19th century, who is particularly well known for his industrial scenes and matchstick characters.
The focus of the work was perspective and layering. The children completed the pictures in stages in order to create the angles of the buildings, add colour, main features and then add objects in the foreground and background using size and perspective lines.
Well done to the Giraffes!
