Anglo-Saxons & Viking Day

We were fortunate enough to have a visitor to teach us all about the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. We started the day with a talk all about both ages and the impact of these times. We explored some Anglo-Saxon and Viking games, traditions and the lifestyle. We then began making our shields. After lunch, we became warriors. We learnt how to protect ourselves with two different types of shield protection.
