The children of Tigers class had much fun experiencing a Victorian Classroom. Here are some of the things they discussed and talked about -
The Victorians had slate boards and ink pens.
The Victorians didn’t have electricity so for light they used oil lamps and candles.
There were 80 children in a class and all children learnt the same.
The Victorians didn’t have many books. They would share one and pass it around.
You couldn’t have a drink or go to the toilet until lunchtime. If you had an accident then you would be punished.
