King Charles III Coronation Celebrations - May 23

It was a shame the weather forecast looked so grim and we had to cancel parents coming to celebrate King Charles III celebrations with us on the school field. The children had worked hard creating and writing invitations home. The children still had a wonderful day, they dressed up in red, white and blue. The school hall was decorated in flags and balloons. They came together for a special coronation lunch and enjoyed showing us their royal waves. In the afternoon the children had lots of fun making royal crowns, decorating royal biscuits, creating royal bunting and even pinning the tail on the corgi. All the children came home with a royal bookmark and pencil that was kindly provided the OCC catering services.
