Cricket Competition - Year 5 - 20th May 2024

On Monday 20th June, the year 5 cricket team went to Abingdon School for the partnership competition. The children showed immense determination and perseverance. Not only did the children win their group games, with some incredible scores, they also got through to the finals where we played the other winner of all group games. Overall, it was a tie, and we got the trophy for the whole competition. This was a fantastic competition, and the children were amazing and based on this fantastic competition, they have got through to the county finals in July! We are so incredibly proud of this team for pushing themselves and trying their best. 

We would also like to thank Mrs Barnes for all of her support and volunteering her Friday afternoons to train this team, we couldn't have done it without her. Thank you!
